About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze post-market and related datasets to identify safety and quality signals and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Perform data manipulation, automation, and reproducible analyses using R, including Shiny, Python, and SQL
- Create scripts and pipelines to streamline routine processes
- Apply data visualization, pre-processing, categorical analysis, text mining, statistical methodologies, data management, AI, and other data science techniques
- Execute complaint trending and signal detection processes in accordance with regulatory and quality system requirements
- Perform data analysis supporting stakeholder investigations, audits, CAPAs, field actions, and regulatory inquiries
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor metrics, surface trends, and measure intervention impact
- Propose and implement process and analytical improvements, including alternative methods and algorithms
- Follow software development best practices including version control, documentation, testing, and reproducible code
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a technical or clinical field is required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience required
- Background in statistical/data analysis and data management processes
- Knowledge of data science and management software technology
- Experience cleaning and summarizing large datasets
- Competency using and writing scripts with R to analyze data
- Ability to work efficiently with general or limited supervision
- Ability to self-learn and self-seek solutions
- Up to 10% travel may be required
- Quality System and Medical Device experience preferred
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and prioritize with management and stakeholders preferred
- Ability to work independently and in groups amid fluctuating and competing priorities preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills preferred
