About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with brand marketing to build and deliver integrated market access strategies
  • Lead development and presentation of the annual Market Access Readiness Review
  • Lead cross-functional market access teams across SCG, medical affairs, and RWV&E
  • Develop and execute market access initiatives to drive optimal product access
  • Generate customer insights to shape access strategies, tactics, and KPIs
  • Lead launch readiness for new indications and combination approvals, including ongoing LRRs to SCG leadership
  • Develop value propositions with RWV&E and analytics/insights teams to support public health decision makers and access/reimbursement strategies
  • Use healthcare landscape knowledge to inform short- and long-term sustainable product access and reimbursement strategies
  • Align brand marketing strategies, access priorities, and tactics
  • Ensure payer and institution account management teams receive timely training and resources
  • Integrate and lead the team across MM/Oncology VAP members and internal partners including RWV&E, pricing, quality, HCC, Legal, and Regulatory
  • Manage the VAP budget and agency partners for timely tactical execution and spending

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • Ten years of progressive healthcare experience required
  • Pharmaceuticals experience required
  • At least three years of prior marketing or market access experience preferred
  • Ability to work with approved vendors and data/information sources to develop business rationale for proposed strategies
  • Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. payer and reimbursement market
  • Additional cross-functional experience in strategy development, finance, business development, account management, or sales preferred
  • Ability to operate and lead effectively in a matrix environment
  • Strong strategy, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Flexibility to travel within J&J campuses as needed
  • Required domestic travel up to 25% for meetings, training, customer visits, and related activities
  • Based in Horsham, Pennsylvania
  • Required to work 3 days on-site and 2 days remotely per week
