About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the learning strategy across regional Professional and Commercial Education teams for Electrophysiology hardware and software
  • Collaborate with global and regional education teams to develop globally relevant education for New Product Introductions and New Employee Training
  • Translate marketing strategy into global education experiences supporting product launches and employee training
  • Build and deliver launch training strategies and curricula through the Launch Excellence process
  • Facilitate best-practice sharing with EdTech and commercial business leaders
  • Apply curriculum design protocols and maintain consistency of the global education experience
  • Catalog regional education needs and best practices and share them with strategy and design leads
  • Collaborate with regional LMS administration on content mapping and management
  • Ensure compliance with global learning, communications, and digital asset strategies
  • Convert technical content from Medical Science, Marketing, Clinical, Sales, and R&D into effective education experiences
  • Facilitate initial product training and Train the Trainer activities
  • Coordinate copy reviews and content expiration status
  • Create performance indicators to measure training effectiveness
  • Manage project-level budget
  • Partner with product leads, commercial leaders, EdTech, marketing, sales, and information technology teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of Medical Device or related field experience
  • 3 years in cardiac electrophysiology, 3D mapping skills and/or intracardiac ultrasound
  • 3 years in learning and development in lieu of electrophysiology experience
  • Ability to understand business strategy and translate it into education solutions supporting business goals
  • Leadership ability to engage and collaborate with global professionals across the JJMT EP organization
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across a matrixed organization
  • Ability to manage a broad list of assets across multiple functions
  • Ability to communicate strategy and standards across multiple recipients, functions, and US/OUS associates
  • Willingness to travel globally as required, up to 25%
  • During prelaunch and launch activities, ability to work in a hospital lab environment may be required
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
  • Preferred: regional Commercial Education training deployment experience
  • Preferred: OUS marketplace or OUS team experience
  • Preferred: medical technology sales or marketing collaboration experience
  • Preferred: vendor resource management track record
  • Preferred: formal Instructional Design training and certification or curriculum design portfolio
  • Preferred: knowledge of Learning Management Systems management, strategic planning, needs assessment, adult learning, and cost/benefit analysis
