About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess and increase clinical competency development for the assigned field organization
  • Assess team members' clinical skills, identify resources to fill training gaps, and monitor improvement through certification and beyond
  • Launch new technologies and achieve geographically aligned business objectives
  • Provide technical and clinical product support to EP physicians and laboratory staff for electrophysiology diagnostic and therapeutic catheters and systems
  • Build relationships with physicians and EP laboratory staff to foster interest in new products and indications
  • Partner with Territory Managers, Field Service Engineers, Field Management, Sales, Marketing, and Global Education and Training
  • Establish and execute clinical development and certification plans for electrophysiology clinical team members and per diem clinical support
  • Measure learning and growth within the assigned workgroup
  • Train physicians and EP/IC Lab Staff on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment, including the CARTO® System and software modules
  • Educate customers on electrophysiology products and provide in-service training
  • Use and coach workgroups on consultative selling techniques and identify sales opportunities
  • Facilitate contact with key decision makers to drive incremental business
  • Maintain collaboration and communication with local teams, support teams, and internal and external partners
  • Develop and share best practices with field sales and service colleagues
  • Develop customer relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, administrators, and hospital staff
  • Stay current on product instructions for use, technical troubleshooting, scientific literature, and new product information
  • Respond to customer and partner requests by email and voicemail
  • Complete field visit letters, training summaries, account documentation, compliance training, expense reports, and company system input
  • Respond to case-support requests and ensure optimal equipment usage
  • Set appointments and present clinical and technical information
  • Maintain Safe Fleet standards and comply with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills, including group presentations
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally
  • Certification in cardiology technology, such as IBHRE or RCES, preferred
  • Clinical electrophysiology experience preferred
  • Managerial or supervisory experience preferred
  • Live in the assigned geography preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products
