About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day trade compliance operations, including import and export activities, classification, and documentation accuracy
- Assist with product classification (HTS, ECCN) and country-of-origin determinations
- Monitor compliance with U.S. and international trade laws, including export controls, sanctions, and customs requirements
- Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and external brokers to resolve shipment holds, customs issues, and trade compliance inquiries
- Maintain trade compliance records and support internal audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries
- Screen customers, suppliers, and transactions against restricted-party and denied-party lists
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to trade compliance processes, systems, and controls
- Prepare reports, metrics, and documentation for compliance monitoring and leadership reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience supporting trade compliance, import/export operations, or global supply chain activities
- Working knowledge of customs, export controls, sanctions, and other trade regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation and compliance records accurately
- Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and escalate compliance concerns appropriately
- Hands-on SAP GTS experience handling legal regulations and block resolution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business systems
- English required; additional languages a plus
- Minimal travel; occasional domestic travel may be required (<10%)
