About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support day-to-day trade compliance operations, including import and export activities, classification, and documentation accuracy
Assist with product classification (HTS, ECCN) and country-of-origin determinations
Monitor compliance with U.S. and international trade laws, including export controls, sanctions, and customs requirements
Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and external brokers to resolve shipment holds, customs issues, and trade compliance inquiries
Maintain trade compliance records and support internal audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries
Screen customers, suppliers, and transactions against restricted-party and denied-party lists
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to trade compliance processes, systems, and controls
Prepare reports, metrics, and documentation for compliance monitoring and leadership reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
Experience supporting trade compliance, import/export operations, or global supply chain activities
Working knowledge of customs, export controls, sanctions, and other trade regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation and compliance records accurately
Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and escalate compliance concerns appropriately
Hands-on SAP GTS experience handling legal regulations and block resolution
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business systems
English required; additional languages a plus
Minimal travel; occasional domestic travel may be required (<10%)
