About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training on AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters for EP and IC procedures
  • Train physicians and EP lab staff on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment, including CARTO®, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, and the Stockert RF generator
  • Educate customers on electrophysiology products through technical and clinical information and in-service training
  • Share best practices to increase customer value
  • Use consultative selling to identify sales opportunities and facilitate Territory Sales Manager contact with decision-makers
  • Plan and schedule customer case support to meet and exceed business goals
  • Collaborate with regional teams, Territory Managers, EP CAS, other ULS CAS, Marketing, Field Service Engineers, Regional Business Directors, and field management
  • Develop best practices and customer relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, administrators, and hospital staff
  • Stay current on product instructions for use, troubleshooting, scientific literature, and new product information
  • Respond to requests in high-stress environments and formulate solutions using stakeholder input
  • Mentor new electrophysiology commercial team members
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab
  • Must maintain certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography
  • Advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge
  • Clinical knowledge of healthcare industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States
  • Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardio imaging
  • Technical knowledge of electrophysiology technology, advancements, and business landscape
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, work in hospital laboratory settings, attend live patient cases, and wear protective gear such as lead aprons
  • Willingness to work variable hours to meet patient needs
  • May be required to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Strongly preferred: electrophysiology/cath lab or EP/cardiovascular device industry experience
  • Strongly preferred: CEPS (IBHRE), RCES, or RCIS certification
  • Experience with highly complex technical systems or critical patient care settings
  • Effective and timely communication with co-workers and patient care teams
  • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly in a dynamic environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights
  • Willingness to learn and build new skills
