About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive standardization, communicate best practices, and support E&PS Project Controls implementation from Business Need through Execution
  • Implement early estimating, 21 Tab Cost Reporting and 4UPs, integrated Oracle Primavera Cloud schedules, and project change control
  • Provide liaison support between Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Project Management
  • Prepare monthly reports for E&PS and affiliate senior management on funding authorizations, schedules, accomplishments, issues, and concerns
  • Assist Project Directors with Capital Appropriation Requests
  • Facilitate Cost Risk Assessments using Monte Carlo Software to acquire funding approvals
  • Establish and maintain communications to increase compliance awareness and improve compliance issues
  • Evaluate A/E and CM/Contractor performance for cost control, schedule management, progress measurement, and change management
  • Support procurement and management of outside project control consulting services
  • Gather and analyze benchmark data
  • Assist in project execution planning
  • Ensure the FORMA cloud-based collaboration system is used according to guidelines
  • Report to the Sr. Director Project Controls
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 50%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management is required
  • Minimum of 10–12 years of project controls experience in a related industry directly supporting capital project implementation
  • 5+ years of experience managing staff
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering/construction project controls and project execution
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera Cloud, MS Project, and Excel
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated industry preferred
  • Experience with Monte Carlo cost analysis preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
