About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver account-level customer insights and analytics for JJMT Surgery and Key Account Management/Deal Performance
- Scale and operationalize insights sharing and actioning, progressing toward proactive and predictive insights
- Partner with Data Science and Solutions, IT, FSO Insights, Offer Development, Field Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other functions
- Develop and support approaches that improve operating efficiency by eliminating redundant steps and automating manual work
- Execute Connected Account Planning across SSL, FSO, KAM, Marketing, and related functions
- Identify business performance improvement opportunities and collaborate with aligned KAM team members and cross-functional partners
- Support system/customer-level strategic planning, financial planning, performance measurement, and optimization
- Identify opportunities and gaps in alignment with business growth strategies
- Drive intuitive, user-friendly reporting and solutions across the business
- Deliver metrics linked to commercial strategy, deal excellence, and performance targets
- Share assessments and best practices, and drive accountability to metrics and approaches
- Maintain Area Rosters and track deal performance to ensure alignment and win-win outcomes
- Lead business planning and targeting initiatives
- Increase organizational understanding of accounts, procedures, products, contracts, IDNs, competition, and market dynamics
- Serve as a change agent for commercial transformation initiatives and represent Customer Insights with Field Sales and Key Account Management
- Foster open sharing of perspectives and feedback to improve analytics capabilities
- Recognize team members’ contributions to projects and major initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field is required
- 4+ years of work/industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Finance, analytics, or data analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
- Advanced data visualization experience; Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI preferred
- Data analysis techniques using SPSS, SAS, Python, or R
- MS Office proficiency
- Extensive experience partnering with and leading cross-functional teams and organizational build-outs
- Understanding of data analysis and the field sales/contracting landscape
- Ability to identify shortcomings in systems, processes, or tools and drive effective process-improvement solutions
- Ability to develop strategies and translate them into tactical activities to improve sales force effectiveness, including sales planning tools
- Ability to collaborate in a complex, constantly evolving, matrixed organization
- Strong project management skills
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective written, verbal communication, and presentation skills with various levels of management
- Ability to travel approximately 15% domestically
- MBA, MS, or other advanced degree preferred
- Leadership experience with Field Sales, Information Management/Information Technology, Contracting, and/or Marketing organizations preferred
- Understanding of planning, execution, and measurement of sales and contracting processes
- Understanding of the Business/Key Account Management Planning Process and/or Deal Performance
- Understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes
- Experience partnering with Marketing, Field Sales, and Information Management/Information Technology organizations
- Experience with ETL technologies such as Databricks, AWS, or Snowflake
