About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver account-level customer insights and analytics for JJMT Surgery's Key Account Management and deal performance ecosystem
- Execute connected field sales, key account management, marketing, and integrated account-planning processes
- Measure KPI performance, KAM effectiveness, productivity, deal performance, and commercial strategy execution
- Scale and operationalize insights sharing and actioning toward proactive and predictive analytics
- Partner with Data Science and Solutions, IT, FSO Insights, Offer Development, Finance, Marketing, Pricing Strategy, and Contract Execution teams
- Improve operating efficiency by eliminating redundant steps and automating manual work
- Identify business performance opportunities and gaps aligned with growth strategies
- Support system/customer-level strategic planning, financial planning, performance measurement, and optimization
- Develop intuitive, user-friendly reports and solutions across the business
- Deliver metrics tied to commercial strategy, deal excellence, and performance targets; share assessments and best practices
- Maintain area rosters and track deal performance to ensure alignment
- Lead business planning and targeting initiatives covering accounts, procedures, products, contracts, IDNs, competition, and market dynamics
- Serve as a change agent for commercial transformation initiatives and represent Customer Insights with Field Sales and Key Account Management
- Foster feedback and knowledge sharing across Customer Insights teams and recognize contributions to team initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field is required
- 4+ years of work/industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Finance, analytics, or data analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
- Advanced data visualization skills; Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI preferred
- Data analysis techniques using SPSS, SAS, Python, or R
- MS Office proficiency
- Extensive experience partnering with and leading cross-functional teams and organizational build-out
- Understanding of data analysis and the field sales/contracting landscape
- Ability to identify shortcomings in systems, processes, or tools and drive process-improvement solutions
- Ability to develop strategies and translate them into tactical activities to improve sales-force effectiveness, including sales-planning tools
- Ability to collaborate in a complex, constantly evolving matrixed organization
- Interdependent partnering, influence, and consensus-building skills
- Strong project-management, creative-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written, verbal communication, and presentation skills with various management levels
- Ability to travel approximately 15% domestically
- MBA, MS, or other advanced degree preferred
- Leadership experience with Field Sales, Information Management/Information Technology, Contracting, and/or Marketing organizations preferred
- Understanding of planning, execution, and measurement of sales and contracting processes
- Understanding of business, Key Account Management planning, and/or deal performance
- Understanding of agile methodologies and product-development processes
- Experience partnering with Marketing, Field Sales, and Information Management/Information Technology organizations
- ETL experience with Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, or similar technologies
