About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the global strategy for strategic education partnerships, including identification, prioritization, governance, and ongoing relationship management
  • Serve as enterprise relationship owner for priority education partnerships
  • Align partnership priorities across Global MedTech Education & Capabilities, JJI, regional teams, marketing, professional and commercial education, medical affairs, legal, finance, operations, technology, innovation, and external partners
  • Own the Johnson & Johnson Institute network footprint strategy
  • Ensure strategic partnerships support professional education, commercial education, digital learning, OTTAVA readiness, product introductions, and specialty education
  • Lead operating model, project management, communications, and delivery for large-scale partnership initiatives
  • Manage milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
  • Lead joint governance meetings and ensure decision-making, issue resolution, follow-up, and action completion
  • Monitor partnership health and strategic value using metrics, feedback, utilization data, customer experience insights, and regional priorities
  • Serve as overall partnership owner for IRCAD in North America
  • Lead the Surgical Intelligence Experience Center initiative, including communication, project management, delivery readiness, and implementation
  • Manage Future of Surgery Curriculum partnerships and coordinate internal and external subject-matter experts
  • Define partnership priorities and opportunities across APAC and assess regional education and training-center needs
  • Own the global JJI footprint strategy across priority markets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, education, healthcare, life sciences, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of healthcare, medical device, education, commercial, professional education, strategic partnerships, program management, or related experience
  • Strong global mindset and experience working across regions, cultures, time zones, and highly matrixed organizations
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects with accountability for timelines, budgets, communication, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and delivery
  • Ability to operate strategically and tactically, from long-range footprint strategy through hands-on implementation
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing complex external partnerships, academic or institutional relationships, strategic alliances, or global education networks highly preferred
  • Knowledge of professional education, clinical simulation, training center operations, learning technology, customer experience, or medical education accreditation preferred
  • Experience with surgical education, robotics, digital learning, or advanced procedural training preferred
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred
