About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver market intelligence and business insights to DePuy Synthes, supporting senior franchise leadership
  • Develop and maintain global market models quantifying market size, growth, and share dynamics
  • Build and refine granular sub-segment models to analyze the market, competitive landscape, and key drivers
  • Own end-to-end market forecasting and analytics for annual planning and financial planning cycles
  • Deliver scenario-based forecasts, variance analysis, and actionable guidance for finance and commercial teams
  • Lead competitive intelligence and earnings analysis initiatives
  • Monitor competitor activity and produce executive-ready insights
  • Lead secondary research programs at country, regional, and global levels
  • Translate complex, data-heavy outputs into actionable insights and executive-ready storyboard presentations
  • Influence stakeholders and ensure alignment in key business decisions
  • Support education and dissemination of existing knowledge and market information to cross-functional platform partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS or BA in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in modeling, competitive intelligence, secondary market research, forecasting, strategic insights, business analytics, finance, or a related field
  • Experience in the medical technology, hospital specialty, or healthcare field
  • Track record of working in a dynamic environment requiring collaboration, influencing, and initiative
  • Ability to understand, translate, and integrate marketplace data and secondary data tools into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated success in creative problem solving and team partnership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools
  • People management experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to synthesize disparate data sources into an integrated insight view preferred
  • Up to 20% travel
