About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate the end-to-end tender, quotation, pricing, and customer contracting lifecycle.
- Develop high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive proposals that maximize business opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Support offer development, discount analysis, proposal preparation, contract implementation, and accurate price activation.
- Serve as the trusted expert and advisor for tendering, contracting, pricing, and commercial operations.
- Partner with commercial leaders and account teams to support customer strategies and complex negotiations.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on commercial risks, opportunities, and business performance.
- Analyze tender outcomes, contract performance, and market dynamics to identify growth and optimization opportunities.
- Drive process simplification, digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across commercial operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, healthcare regulations, and audit standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare, Supply Chain, Law, Procurement, or a related field.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both C2 level), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant experience as a Tender Manager, Bid Manager, Proposal Manager, Contract Manager, Commercial Operations Specialist, Commercial Excellence Specialist, Procurement Professional, or in a related commercial function.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills within a matrix organization.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with business systems, reports, and structured data.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Experience in MedTech, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated industry (preferred).
- Knowledge of Dutch healthcare procurement, tendering, contracting, or commercial compliance processes (preferred).
- Experience with digital tools and process improvement initiatives (e.g., Power BI, SAP, Salesforce, CRM, CPQ, automation, or operational excellence programs) (preferred).
