About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as primary finance partner to the US Surgical Vision commercial team
  • Provide financial insights to support revenue growth, margin expansion, and investment decisions
  • Participate in monthly business reviews, delivering performance analysis and recommendations
  • Support pricing, contracting, and promotional strategy evaluations
  • Lead monthly forecast, quarterly updates, and annual business planning processes
  • Develop and maintain revenue, gross margin, and OPEX models
  • Identify risks and opportunities and communicate clear mitigation plans
  • Deliver variance analysis (actuals vs. plan/forecast/prior year) with clear drivers
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility into business performance
  • Support ad hoc analyses, including ROI assessments and scenario modeling
  • Partner with Supply Chain Finance on inventory, COGS, and demand planning
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional teams to align on assumptions and reporting
  • Work closely with FP&A, Accounting, and Commercial Excellence teams
  • Ensure adherence to company financial policies and internal controls
  • Support audit requirements and ensure data integrity across systems
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required, with a major in Finance, Accounting, Business analytics or Economics.
  • CPA, CMA, CGMA or MBA preferred
  • 5-8+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Prior people management experiences preferred
  • Knowledge of Accounting, Internal Controls Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Analytics, Portfolio management, Sales/Marketing Financial Support is needed.
  • An analytical mentality along with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong business relationships is required
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and proactive idea generation is required
  • Experience partnering with and presenting to senior leadership is required
  • Ability to clearly articulate sophisticated financial information in an easy-to-follow manner is required
  • Ability to command and embrace change and handle risk and uncertainty is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and influence cross functionally within the company’s local leadership team, regional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SAP, TM1, or similar planning tools
  • Up to 10% travel is required
