About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acts as the scientific medical reference for internal and external stakeholders
- Builds relationships with community and academic healthcare professionals (HCPs), focusing on influencing clinical practice through scientific exchange
- Communicates the value of innovation-related attributes (e.g., efficacy, safety, adherence, quality of life [QoL]) to secure endorsement from stakeholders
- Executes field medical educational events focused on near-launch products and key in-line products
- Shapes medical practice by influencing HCP behavior during product pre-launch phases — prepares the healthcare environment and medical community, accelerating adoption (engagement of principal investigators and pre-approval access programs)
- Designs and executes the KOL engagement plan in line with strategy and validated by MAF and other internal business partners
- Ensures ongoing medical education aligned with the KOL engagement plan, monitoring adoption of new knowledge and identifying barriers to practice change for innovative products
- Responds to scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators, health systems and public health decision-makers, integrating scientific data into real-world practice to meet stakeholder needs
- Collects field insights on scientific knowledge, treatment paradigms, competitors, unmet medical needs and opportunities
- Works collaboratively in the daily activities of the GFC, implementing medical strategies aligned to the product lifecycle
- Identifies potential sites and supports site recruitment when required, in alignment with the Head of TA/Medical Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep scientific knowledge in immunology and ability to interpret scientific data
- Relevant experience in healthcare or academic research
- Previous experience as an MSL
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in MS Office
- Willingness to travel 70% of the time
- Valid driver's license (category B)
- Master's degree and PhD are desirable
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Business mindset
- Teamwork, leadership and influencing skills – able to work effectively in a matrix organization and maintain peer relationships with Lead Experts
