About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership and operational oversight for core HR and people‑related technology platforms
- Ensure stability, performance, and continuous improvement of foundational platforms that support critical HR and business processes
- Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure platforms meet functional and operational requirements
- Oversee platform stability, enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution activities
- Establish and maintain governance, standards, and controls for core platform operations
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and optimization of platform‑enabled processes
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure quality and value delivery
- Monitor performance metrics and service levels to ensure reliable and efficient platform operations
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team supporting core platform operations and delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required
- Typically 6-8 years of progressive experience in technology platforms, HR systems, or related operational leadership roles
- Strong understanding of platform operations, system integrations, and service management practices
- Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and operational management skills
- Excellent communication and people‑leadership capabilities
- Experience supporting HR, people, or enterprise platforms including Workday in a shared services or global model preferred
- Familiarity with Workday HCM, cloud‑based platforms, or digital workplace technologies preferred
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences preferred
- Exposure to digital transformation, automation, or platform modernization initiatives preferred
- Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures preferred
- English proficiency is required.
