About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product roadmap and platform backlog, including feature intake, prioritization, grooming, and readiness.
- Translate roadmap priorities into executable plans by defining quarterly objectives.
- Drive end-to-end execution of cross-functional R&D initiatives by tracking work against commitments.
- Lead planning, tracking, and execution cadence using Agile and program management practices.
- Partner closely with engineering, product management, clinical, and functional leaders to align scope, priorities, and timelines.
- Use data and metrics to inform decisions and course-correct.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with leadership and partners, providing regular updates on roadmap progress.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in engineering, or scientific field.
- Minimum 8+ years of professional work experience in product development
- Minimum 4 years in engineer, program or product management
- Experience working on complex systems or in complex, dynamic teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with teams
- Experience in 'Organizational Change' and 'Conflict Resolution'
- Software and/or Hardware development experience
- Motivating and influencing others without direct authority.
- A passion for experimentation, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong critical thinking, and an eagerness to learn.
- Able to work independently and be self-motivated and results driven.
- Preferred: Experience launching a new product is a plus
- Project Management Certification (e.g., FPX, PMP) and/or Scrum Master Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP)
- Experience working in the regulated industry such as healthcare, aerospace, pharmaceutical, automotive.
- Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Airtable, other database and work planning tools.
