About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Foster a team culture passionate about continuous improvement and promoting collaboration.
  • Help build new service model and end products for the RDS department.
  • Partner with other Global Development and Finance leaders, as needed, to build new innovative analytics and visualizations.
  • Build and maintain forecasting models to support TA staff planning, as needed.
  • Produce high-quality and comprehensive reports that consolidate cross-functional insights across PPR departments including forecasting model changes, portfolio change, function/team level risks, and supply/Flex analytics.
  • Present findings in a clear and impactful manner to both internal and external parties involved in decision making.
  • Communicate insights and suggested business actions in a way that is easy for everyone to understand.
  • Apply strong business and financial acumen to evaluate resource implications, portfolio trade-offs, and investment decisions across the development portfolio.
  • Collaborate with important individuals in a business partner role to incorporate the benefits of forecasting models into decision-making processes.
  • Partner with Finance, Business Operations, Capacity Management, IT, and other functions to deliver coordinated, end-to-end solutions to emerging business challenges.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in portfolio management, forecasting and resourcing, data analytics, or data science is required.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to connect analytical insights to business outcomes and strategic decisions is required.
  • Project and/or portfolio management experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the drug development process is preferred.
  • Experience in Neuroscience and/or Cardiopulmonary therapeutic areas is preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, R/Shiny, or other analytical visualization tools is required.
  • Knowledge of Planisware is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating across geographies and functions is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership success in driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across a matrixed organization is required.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must demonstrate high learning agility and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be an innovative thinker with the ability to experiment in the pursuit of efficient, data-driven decision making.
  • The ability to think strategically, build organizational awareness, establish strong professional relationships and drive change with diverse stakeholder groups is required.
