About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic leadership, governance, and operational oversight for automation, control systems, asset management, and engineering execution across all manufacturing, distribution, and Deliver sites within the North American and Latin American regions.
- Elevate localized operations into a unified, pan-regional framework—bridging the gap between functional strategy and technical execution.
- Establish early-stage project governance, standardizing regional controls infrastructure, enforcing rigorous GxP/FDA/ISO compliance, and leading cross-border engineering teams.
- Direct and manage the Americas engineering organizational footprint, fostering inclusiveness, diversity, and collaborative knowledge-sharing.
- Serve as the primary Engineering stakeholder and authority in early-stage decision-making for major capital projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Engineering or related area of study preferred.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience Engineering experience, with a proven track record of managing multi-site distribution automation, robotics, or complex control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coach professional engineering teams.
- Well-developed presentation and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders across international borders.
- Project management experience and familiarity with FPX, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies Preferred.
- Expert-level knowledge of GMP principles, qualification/validation approaches, safety regulations, and working within regulated (GxP/FDA/ISO) environments.
