About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product roadmap and platform backlog, including feature intake, prioritization, grooming, and readiness, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, technical strategy, and delivery capacity
- Translate roadmap priorities into executable plans by defining quarterly objectives, developing coordinated delivery plans, and maintaining backlogs that connect long‑range strategy to day‑to‑day execution
- Drive end‑to‑end execution of cross‑functional R&D initiatives by tracking work against commitments, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring predictable delivery across the product development lifecycle—from concept through design transfer and release
- Lead planning, tracking, and execution cadence using Agile and program management practices (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, dependency management), leveraging these mechanisms to implement the roadmap rather than serving as a dedicated Scrum Master or standalone Program Manager
- Partner closely with engineering, product management, clinical, and functional leaders to align scope, priorities, and timelines, proactively surface tradeoffs, and resolve execution blockers
- Use data and metrics to inform decisions and course‑correct, including tracking delivery health, milestone progress, and key performance indicators related to scope, schedule, quality, and risk
- Communicate clearly and proactively with leadership and partners, providing regular updates on roadmap progress, execution status, risks, and mitigation plans to support timely, informed decision‑making
