About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development of next-generation surgical navigation and planning systems
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of systems, hardware, firmware, quality, and regulatory partners
  • Build production grade on-device clinical applications and services in C#/.NET for Windows and iOS targets
  • Experience with relational databases and embedded databases such as SQLite
  • Develop concurrent, multi-threaded components and services using REST APIs and databases
  • Use secure coding principles to ensure cybersecurity and patient safety
  • Build cloud connected backends and integrations in Azure
  • Drive software quality through unit/integration/system tests
  • Contribute to regulatory documentation, traceability, and V&V aligned with IEC 62304
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum workflows, mentor junior engineers, and lead design/code reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong proficiency in full-stack C#/.NET development and object-oriented design
  • Experience in Medical Device or MedTech industry preferred
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing and supporting a full-stack application system
  • Experience with Windows application development using WPF
  • Excellent ability to author technical documentation for software applications
  • Proficiency across the full SDLC in a regulated environment
  • Strong debugging and profiling skills on Windows
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills.
