About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

coordinate and optimize outbound transportation operations across assigned distribution centers, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective parcel transportation services.
collaborate closely with transportation providers, distribution center operations, and supply chain partners to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer service performance.
ensure reliable day-to-day transportation execution with a focus on speed, quality, compliance, and customer service.
monitor transportation performance and implement corrective actions with carriers and supply chain partners when required.
lead Carrier Operational Performance Reviews to ensure service level achievement, drive corrective actions, and identify optimization opportunities.
identify opportunities for business process harmonization and continuous improvement across transportation operations.
provide analytical and project management support for operational and financial improvement initiatives, including carrier changes, lane implementations, transportation mode shifts, and order profile optimization.
lead shipment complaint and claims management processes while driving systemic improvements to eliminate recurring defects and enhance transportation performance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

BSC Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Technology, or in a related field.
3-5 years experience.
High attention to details combined with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and organization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Successful track record of developing and implementing projects and business solutions.
Ability to work in a highly complex environment.
Demonstrated capacity for continuous improvement and innovation in logistics/transportation processes.
Lean certification is a plus.
Capable of adapting & prioritizing responsibilities to provide flexibility.
IT literacy (good with Excel – other databases, such as Access, oracle is a plus).
Business fluency in English and fluency in additional European languages is a plus.
