Key responsibilities & impact- coordinate and optimize outbound transportation operations across assigned distribution centers, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective parcel transportation services.
- collaborate closely with transportation providers, distribution center operations, and supply chain partners to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer service performance.
- ensure reliable day-to-day transportation execution with a focus on speed, quality, compliance, and customer service.
- monitor transportation performance and implement corrective actions with carriers and supply chain partners when required.
- lead Carrier Operational Performance Reviews to ensure service level achievement, drive corrective actions, and identify optimization opportunities.
- identify opportunities for business process harmonization and continuous improvement across transportation operations.
- provide analytical and project management support for operational and financial improvement initiatives, including carrier changes, lane implementations, transportation mode shifts, and order profile optimization.
- lead shipment complaint and claims management processes while driving systemic improvements to eliminate recurring defects and enhance transportation performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSC Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Technology, or in a related field.
- 3-5 years experience.
- High attention to details combined with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Successful track record of developing and implementing projects and business solutions.
- Ability to work in a highly complex environment.
- Demonstrated capacity for continuous improvement and innovation in logistics/transportation processes.
- Lean certification is a plus.
- Capable of adapting & prioritizing responsibilities to provide flexibility.
- IT literacy (good with Excel – other databases, such as Access, oracle is a plus).
- Business fluency in English and fluency in additional European languages is a plus.
