About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • coordinate and optimize outbound transportation operations across assigned distribution centers, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective parcel transportation services.
  • collaborate closely with transportation providers, distribution center operations, and supply chain partners to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer service performance.
  • ensure reliable day-to-day transportation execution with a focus on speed, quality, compliance, and customer service.
  • monitor transportation performance and implement corrective actions with carriers and supply chain partners when required.
  • lead Carrier Operational Performance Reviews to ensure service level achievement, drive corrective actions, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • identify opportunities for business process harmonization and continuous improvement across transportation operations.
  • provide analytical and project management support for operational and financial improvement initiatives, including carrier changes, lane implementations, transportation mode shifts, and order profile optimization.
  • lead shipment complaint and claims management processes while driving systemic improvements to eliminate recurring defects and enhance transportation performance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BSC Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Technology, or in a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience.
  • High attention to details combined with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Successful track record of developing and implementing projects and business solutions.
  • Ability to work in a highly complex environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity for continuous improvement and innovation in logistics/transportation processes.
  • Lean certification is a plus.
  • Capable of adapting & prioritizing responsibilities to provide flexibility.
  • IT literacy (good with Excel – other databases, such as Access, oracle is a plus).
  • Business fluency in English and fluency in additional European languages is a plus.
