About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable for the operational management and successful country execution of all phases of clinical trials within assigned therapeutic area(s) or specific role(s).
- Oversee resource allocation, adherence to timelines and budget, compliance with relevant SOPs, policies, HCC and local regulatory requirements.
- Support the Site Enablement Leader in shaping and managing local organizational structure.
- Responsible for line management of Functional Managers (FM), and/or other Site Enablement staff.
- Oversee staff performance, development, training, project assignments, workload distribution, and supports issue resolution with direct reports.
- Ensure alignment of local goals with organizational objectives.
- Drive innovative solutions and process improvements for the Oncology therapeutic area, Site Enablement, and GD overall.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy).
- A minimum of 10 years of clinical research experience is required.
- Portfolio and/or program delivery experience is required.
- People management experience is required.
- Experience with U.S. study start-up is required.
- Experience advancing innovation is required.
- Experience in driving operational excellence is required.
- Experience in the Oncology Therapeutic Area is preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong leadership skills.
- The ability to collaborate and influence decision-making within a cross-functional matrix environment is required.
