About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead overall management of sales strategies, activities, operations, and budgets in the region
  • Implement and carry out selling strategies and strategic sales plans
  • Demonstrate product and procedural knowledge; clinical and procedure excellence
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse group of individuals within the region
  • Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, and career development of the sales team
  • Drive business results by collaborating with Consultants to set and achieve territory objectives
  • Establish relationships with key surgeons, key accounts, and associations for potential opportunities
  • Support compliance initiatives and adhere to regulations and company policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Finance
  • MBA preferred
  • At least 8 years of relevant business and/or leadership experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience, coaching, or mentoring others
  • 5 years of work experience in Medical Device industry
  • Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program preferred
  • Excellent listening, written & oral communication skills
  • Strong Customer Understanding
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to lead through change
  • Strong organizational skills for impactful sales presentations
  • Ability to mentor and develop field sales talent
  • Track record of success in business planning and project management
