About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage all aspects of U.S. federal income tax compliance, including preparation, review, and filing of federal tax returns and related schedules.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual federal tax provisions in coordination with the broader Tax and Finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal tax laws, regulations, and internal policies, maintaining strong documentation and controls.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Treasury) to support audits, inquiries, and tax-related projects.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, including accounting firms and tax consultants.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation within federal tax compliance activities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering technical development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or MBA.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in U.S. federal income tax compliance, typically aligned with a senior manager–level role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience reviewing complex federal tax returns and supporting tax provisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Proven analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience in a multinational or publicly traded company environment.
  • Prior leadership or people‑management experience.
  • Familiarity with tax technology tools and process automation.
  • Language: English (business proficiency).
