About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end sourcing and RFP activities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business requirements.
- Drive supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract implementation in compliance with procurement policies, standards, and governance requirements.
- Apply and reinforce standardized procurement practices, ensuring consistent execution of sourcing processes, tools, and governance across engagements.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on requirements, scope, service models, and pricing structures.
- Own supplier performance management, including KPI tracking, issue resolution, business reviews, and continuous improvement plans.
- Drive visibility and tracking of sourcing pipeline, key priorities, risks, and timelines, ensuring alignment with relevant stakeholders.
- Deliver cost improvement projects and maintain strong reporting discipline to support business and procurement objectives.
- Maintain strong market intelligence on supplier capabilities and industry trends, identifying opportunities to improve service, cost-to-serve, compliance, and innovation.
- Identify and escalate risks, constraints, and capacity gaps, supporting mitigation plans to ensure operational continuity.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience is required.
- Proven experience in logistics, procurement, and sourcing is required, with a strong understanding of warehousing and transportation operations.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and/or logistics service providers is preferred.
- Strong leadership, influence, collaboration, and communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and coordinate across large matrixed and/or virtual teams is required.
- Strong analytical and data management skills are required, including proficiency in Excel and procurement or sourcing tools.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, with strong communication and negotiation skills is required.
