About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and execution of North America trade marketing strategies aligned to brand and commercial objectives
- Manage and develop a team of trade marketing professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and career development
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and other cross ‑ functional teams to translate brand strategies into effective trade programs
- Oversee trade marketing plans targeting distributors and channel partners, including promotions, incentives, and in ‑ market programs
- Allocate resources and manage budgets to ensure timely delivery of high ‑ quality trade marketing initiatives
- Review and ensure consistency, quality, and compliance of trade marketing deliverables with brand standards and stakeholder requirements
- Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve trade marketing processes and effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7 – 10 years of progressive experience in trade marketing, marketing, or commercial roles
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)
- Prior people leadership experience with demonstrated success in coaching and performance management.
- Experience developing and executing trade programs for distributors or channel partners
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and budgets in a fast ‑ paced environment
- Experience supporting North America or regional commercial organizations.
- Background in orthopedic, MedTech, or life sciences industries
- Experience driving process improvements and standardization across regions or markets
- Familiarity with trade spend management and performance measurement
- Strong cross ‑ functional collaboration skills, particularly partnering with Sales and Marketing teams
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
