About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns and related workpapers.
  • Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740, including effective tax rate analysis.
  • Assist with indirect tax activities (e.g., sales/use, VAT) as applicable and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate tax-related journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess potential impacts to the business.
  • Support tax audits and inquiries by gathering documentation and coordinating responses with advisors.
  • Contribute to tax planning initiatives and continuous improvement of tax processes and controls.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, SOX controls, and documentation standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • 4–6 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a combination of both.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax compliance and reporting.
  • Experience supporting income tax provisions under ASC 740.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners.
  • Proficiency with Excel and tax or financial reporting systems.
  • CPA or progress toward CPA certification (preferred).
