About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and review international income tax provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Support quarterly and annual tax reporting processes, including disclosures and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with regional finance teams to gather, analyze, and validate tax data from international entities.
- Assist with statutory tax filings and compliance requirements for non‑U.S. jurisdictions.
- Monitor changes in global tax regulations and assess impacts to reporting and compliance.
- Partner with external advisors on technical tax matters, audits, and local country requirements.
- Support process improvements, documentation, and controls related to international tax reporting.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects, including system enhancements and business transformations impacting tax.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in Taxation or CPA (preferred)
- 4 – 6 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or multinational tax environments
- Experience with international tax reporting and income tax provision processes
- Strong understanding of accounting for income taxes and global tax concepts
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across regions.
- Preferred: Experience supporting tax reporting for large, complex multinational organizations
- Familiarity with tax provision and reporting systems and ERP environments
- Prior experience in the medical device, life sciences, or manufacturing industry
- Exposure to tax audits and interactions with tax authorities
- Process improvement or transformation project experience
- Language requirements: English (required); additional languages a plus.
