About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides strategic security and crisis response services to all cross-sector J&J companies in the North America West subregion
- Develops crisis response and employee support plans based on plausible or effective crisis scenarios
- Acts as core member of the country crisis management teams (CMT)
- Coordinates overall employee support actions including evacuations, relocations, repatriations, emergency housing, care packs, tracking, and accounting
- Develops and implements an annual subregional security strategy in alignment with the Global Security Priorities and the NA strategy
- Develops and presents a multi-year Strategic Masterplan for the subregion
- Is Security SPOC for local and sub-regional business leadership
- Represents J&J GS for security-related topics during government inspections and audits
- Supports the travel security program, including hotel assessments and security planning for high-risk travel
- Conducts internal investigations and supports HR during high-risk employee separations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Criminology, Police Sciences, Security Management, or another relevant area is required
- At least 10 years in a corporate security management role, preferably in a multi-national environment
- A proven and successful track record in crisis management and response, project management and execution, physical security strategies and techniques, security systems and technology, innovation and optimization projects, internal investigations, root-cause analysis (RCA), security risk management, conducting security assessments and mitigation plan development, KPI performance management, event security, executive protection tactics and execution, and security awareness program development and implementation
- Proficiency (oral & written) in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Up to 25% domestic or international travel is required.
