About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns and related workpapers
- Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740, including effective tax rate analysis
- Assist with indirect tax activities (e.g., sales/use, VAT) as applicable and coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate tax-related journal entries and reconciliations
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess potential impacts to the business
- Support tax audits and inquiries by gathering documentation and coordinating responses with advisors
- Contribute to tax planning initiatives and continuous improvement of tax processes and controls
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, SOX controls, and documentation standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- 4–6 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a combination of both
- Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax compliance and reporting
- Experience supporting income tax provisions under ASC 740
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners
- Proficiency with Excel and tax or financial reporting systems
- CPA or progress toward CPA certification (preferred)
