About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Abiomed initiatives and activities related to fellowship physicians and programs
  • Build relationships by working closely with fellowship programs and multiple stakeholders
  • Develop, execute and assess effectiveness of fellow education programs
  • Work closely alongside professional education, field sales and clinical teams to determine training gaps and unmet needs
  • Promote and deliver educational content for fellows in collaboration with clinical team and KOL’s
  • Communicate upcoming fellows engagement opportunities to field and fellowship programs
  • Provide feedback on strategic implementation and assessment of new fellows’ programs
  • Handle all communication and follow up with the fellows’ events, attendees, and field referrals
  • Track fellows throughout educational journey and communicate with Physician Program Managers
  • Attend key training programs, symposia, and conferences related to areas of interest for Abiomed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Science related field
  • Minimum of five years of related experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Cardiology in a customer-facing role (including Interventional Cardiology, Heart Failure, Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or other Cardiovascular related specialties)
  • 3-5 years of track record of success in a sales or clinical role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority across diverse internal stakeholders
  • Clinical understanding of cardiology, specific to mechanical circulatory support.
  • Experience handling large quantities of data, including collection and analysis (advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
