About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Abiomed initiatives and activities related to fellowship physicians and programs
  • Build relationships by working closely with fellowship programs and stakeholders
  • Develop, execute and assess effectiveness of fellow education programs
  • Work closely alongside professional education, field sales and clinical teams
  • Implement fellowship program engagement strategy for aligned segment
  • Promote and deliver educational content for fellows in collaboration with the clinical team
  • Communicate upcoming fellows engagement opportunities to field and fellowship programs
  • Provide feedback on the implementation and assessment of fellows’ programs
  • Handle all communication and follow-up with fellows’ events and attendees
  • Track fellows throughout educational journey and communicate with teams
  • Ensure Abiomed field sales and clinical personnel are aware of programs and processes.
  • Attend key training programs, symposia, and conferences related to areas of interest for Abiomed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Science related field
  • Minimum of five years of related experience is required
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Cardiology in a customer-facing role
  • Experience with fellowship programs and fellowship directors preferred
  • 3-5 years of track record of success in a sales or clinical role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with teaching institutions, program directors and fellowship programs
  • Clinical understanding of cardiology, specific to mechanical circulatory support
  • Experience handling large quantities of data
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills.
