About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive organizational change from manual, siloed activities to an interconnected toolset (Planisware, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.), supporting roadmap prioritization, user-acceptance testing and roll-out of new features that save time and cost.
- Maintain the end-to-end portfolio data model and refresh pipeline; build and maintain self-service dashboards in Power BI; provide training and tier-1 support to cross-functional users.
- Collect and consolidate portfolio data for monthly KPI reporting; ensure information is current, accurate and aligned with business unit leaders across the sector.
- Consolidate the MedTech R&D portfolio. Deliver eNPV, IRR, scenario and capacity models that guide executive investment decisions.
- Analyze MedTech competitors, industry trends and internal performance data to craft talking points for various stakeholders.
- Up to 10% domestic or international travel may be required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field required
- 4-6 years of experience in portfolio management, R&D finance, PMO, or strategy within MedTech, Pharma, or healthcare industry required
- Advanced Excel, Power Point, and strong Power BI capability required
- Proven ability to translate complex analytics into clear, executive-ready narratives required
- Excellent storytelling and influencing skills; comfortable interacting with senior leaders.
- Master’s/MBA, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Hands-on experience with Planisware, or similar PPM platforms.
- Familiarity with Stage-Gate, Agile, and Design-to-Value methodologies.
- Experience using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.
- Experience leading cross-functional change-management initiatives.
- Knowledge of global medical-device competitive and regulatory landscapes.
