About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, standardization, governance, and continuous improvement of critical global planning processes
  • Serve as the global process owner for key planning processes
  • Assess process maturity on a regular basis to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure standard approaches across all different processes in scope from a methodology and documentation perspective
  • Establishes a network of practitioners, to ensure identification and adoption of best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s/university degree is required, and advanced degree preferred (master/PhD)
  • 10 years of general business experience in a health care context
  • A minimum of 8 years direct Supply Chain Planning experience
  • A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
  • Good understanding of SCOR model, lean and 6 sigma principles
  • Proven business acumen in Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance
  • Operational experience with several of the following processes including master production schedule process, inventory management, supply chain management, scenario analysis, change control, integrated business planning, long range demand/capacity planning, planning systems (e.g. SAP, OMP) and other cross-functional business processes common to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly
  • Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels
