About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic leadership for the end‑to‑end Spine supply chain, including demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned to business growth, product lifecycle management, and commercial priorities.
- Lead and develop high‑performing global and regional teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and succession planning.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Commercial, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Regulatory teams to support new product introductions and lifecycle optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce cost, improve inventory turns, and strengthen supply resilience.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and environmental health & safety requirements across the supply chain network.
- Manage external manufacturing and logistics partners to ensure performance, risk mitigation, and long‑term capability.
- Own supply chain performance metrics and financial outcomes, including budget management and productivity targets.
- Anticipate and proactively manage supply risks, disruptions, and capacity constraints.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Typically, 12-14 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing leadership roles, with significant scope and complexity.
- Proven experience leading large, cross‑functional and/or global teams at a senior leadership level.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceuticals, or comparable industry).
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, cost productivity, and service performance.
- Experience partnering with senior commercial and functional leaders to deliver business results.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Up to 25% of domestic and international travel.
- English required; additional languages preferred.
- APICS/CSCP, CPIM, Lean, Six Sigma (preferred).
