About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic leadership for the end‑to‑end Spine supply chain, including demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned to business growth, product lifecycle management, and commercial priorities.
  • Lead and develop high‑performing global and regional teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and succession planning.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Commercial, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Regulatory teams to support new product introductions and lifecycle optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce cost, improve inventory turns, and strengthen supply resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and environmental health & safety requirements across the supply chain network.
  • Manage external manufacturing and logistics partners to ensure performance, risk mitigation, and long‑term capability.
  • Own supply chain performance metrics and financial outcomes, including budget management and productivity targets.
  • Anticipate and proactively manage supply risks, disruptions, and capacity constraints.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • Typically, 12-14 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing leadership roles, with significant scope and complexity.
  • Proven experience leading large, cross‑functional and/or global teams at a senior leadership level.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceuticals, or comparable industry).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, cost productivity, and service performance.
  • Experience partnering with senior commercial and functional leaders to deliver business results.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Up to 25% of domestic and international travel.
  • English required; additional languages preferred.
  • APICS/CSCP, CPIM, Lean, Six Sigma (preferred).
