About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead construction management for large, complex capital and facilities projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
- Manage external partners including architects, engineers, general contractors, and specialty vendors to ensure performance, compliance, and value delivery.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with applicable building codes, regulatory requirements, company standards, and EHS policies.
- Develop and execute construction execution plans, risk mitigation strategies, and site logistics plans aligned with business continuity needs.
- Oversee project cost controls, change management, forecasting, and reporting for assigned projects.
- Partner with Global Real Estate, Facilities, Engineering, and site stakeholders to align construction activities with long-term asset strategies.
- Provide construction subject-matter expertise during feasibility studies, scope development, and contractor selection.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices, lessons learned, and standardized processes across construction programs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in construction management, capital project delivery, or facilities project leadership within regulated or industrial environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex construction projects with multiple stakeholders and external contractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, cost controls, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Proven ability to lead safely and ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
- English (business proficiency).
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- Preferred: Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or PE.
- Preferred: Experience supporting pharmaceutical, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing or R&D facilities.
