Key responsibilities & impact

Lead construction management for large, complex capital and facilities projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
Manage external partners including architects, engineers, general contractors, and specialty vendors to ensure performance, compliance, and value delivery.
Ensure all construction activities comply with applicable building codes, regulatory requirements, company standards, and EHS policies.
Develop and execute construction execution plans, risk mitigation strategies, and site logistics plans aligned with business continuity needs.
Oversee project cost controls, change management, forecasting, and reporting for assigned projects.
Partner with Global Real Estate, Facilities, Engineering, and site stakeholders to align construction activities with long-term asset strategies.
Provide construction subject-matter expertise during feasibility studies, scope development, and contractor selection.
Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices, lessons learned, and standardized processes across construction programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in construction management, capital project delivery, or facilities project leadership within regulated or industrial environments.
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex construction projects with multiple stakeholders and external contractors.
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, cost controls, scheduling, and contract administration.
Proven ability to lead safely and ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
English (business proficiency).
Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
Preferred: Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or PE.
Preferred: Experience supporting pharmaceutical, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing or R&D facilities.
