About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage site Safety and Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
- Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Serve as the site subject ‑ matter expert for PSM, including hazard analysis, management of change, incident investigation, and mechanical integrity.
- Partner with site leadership, engineering, and operations to proactively identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Lead safety audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions; ensure timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), with direct responsibility for Process Safety Management in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA PSM standards and related regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action programs.
- Experience influencing senior leaders and cross ‑ functional teams to drive safety performance.
