About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure effective management of resources to meet customer needs.
  • Manage and coordinate Demand and Access resources tailored to specific facility needs.
  • Create facility level cost-benefit analysis for resource allocation.
  • Collaborate across MedTech Surgery to meet facility requirements.
  • Examine contract issues and make recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Utilize business insight tools for identifying growth opportunities.
  • Manage a team of sales representatives and conduct field visits.
  • Coach sales representatives in achieving development plans.
  • Recruit and hire qualified sales associates for territories.
  • Lead sales processes in a compliant and persuasive manner.
  • Handle customer product inquiries and objections effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of surgical product applications and coach accordingly.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in an applicable field is required, with an MBA (or equivalent) preferred.
  • 3-5 Years relevant business and/or leadership experience required.
  • 3-5 years in clinical sales, marketing, professional education, sales learning/ development, or commercial functional experience is strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience coaching, mentoring, training is also required.
  • 1-2 years of direct leadership experience of a group of employees.
  • Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program and/or interim RSM role 6+ months, is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States is required.
  • The ability to travel, including overnight and/or weekends, up to 60% of the time is also required.
