About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for leading and delivering complex real estate, facilities, and infrastructure projects that support DePuy Synthes’ business operations.
- Lead end-to-end project management for real estate, facilities, and corporate operations initiatives, from concept through close-out.
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including E&PS, Finance, Procurement, EH&S, IT, and business leaders, to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
- Manage external consultants, contractors, and service providers to ensure performance, quality, and contractual compliance.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable regulations, building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Track project performance, report status to leadership, and proactively address issues and changes.
- Support continuous improvement by applying project management best practices, lessons learned, and standard processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive project management experience supporting facilities, real estate, or corporate operations projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Experience working with external vendors, contractors, and professional service firms.
- Preferred: Experience within a regulated environment such as healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
- Familiarity with corporate real estate, facilities management, or capital project delivery.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site project portfolios.
- Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP).
- Strong financial acumen, including capital planning and cost control.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
