About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support short- and long-term business objectives
- Partner with business and functional leaders to provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations that drive performance
- Oversee management reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency
- Support strategic initiatives, including investment evaluations, cost optimization, and business case development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Lead and develop finance talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- MBA or advanced degree (preferred)
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, business operations, or related roles
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting
- Proven ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and influence at the senior leadership level
- Experience leading teams and developing talent in a matrixed environment
- Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial governance
- Experience supporting a global or multi-business organization (preferred)
- Background in medical devices, life sciences, or a regulated industry (preferred)
- Experience driving process improvements or finance transformation initiatives (preferred)
- Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning capabilities (preferred)
- Prior experience partnering with operations, supply chain, or commercial teams (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
