About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Delivering the release testing strategy, ensuring alignment with key deployment achievements such as integration testing, Business Simulation Testing (BST), user acceptance testing (UAT), performance testing, and validation activities.
  • Establish and implement a global testing methodology for S/4HANA releases to drive consistency and repeatability across regions and business units.
  • Define and lead governance for business test planning, execution, and defect management by standardizing tools, templates, and standard processes.
  • Ensure alignment with SAP Clean Core principles and maintain compliance with GxP, CSV, and regulatory requirements across all testing activities.
  • Lead global and regional testing teams across IT, business SMEs, system integrators, and validation partners to deliver aligned, high-quality testing outcomes.
  • Partner with Deployment Leads, PMO, and technical teams to align dependencies and drive integrated testing plans across releases.
  • Serve as the primary connection between program leadership and execution teams, aligning on scope, timelines, and testing readiness within the Testing Chapter.
  • Manage risks by driving mitigation strategies that support quality, compliance, and on-time execution throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Ensure readiness by validating test environments, data integrity, and business checkpoints, coordinating timely resolution of issues during key achievements.
  • Partner with Change Management teams to build collaborator awareness and ensure readiness for testing activities across global and regional teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Deep expertise in ERP business testing strategy and execution for large-scale, multi-release programs, preferably in a global environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex testing cycles, including integration testing, UAT, performance testing, regression testing, and validation in regulated environments.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with business leaders, IT teams, system integrators, and global/regional teams under tight timelines.
  • Familiarity with CSV, SDLC, GxP compliance, and regulatory requirements for life sciences or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences sector is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA testing tools and frameworks, including Solution Manager, Test Suite, and knowledge of Fiori and relevant modules.
  • Ability to develop and enforce global standards for testing methodology, tools, and templates across multiple releases.
