About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Own end‑to‑end A2R activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting
Establish and maintain strong close governance, controls, and documentation to support internal and external audit requirements
Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and business teams to ensure alignment between operational activity and financial results
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline close timelines, improve data quality, and enhance reporting efficiency
Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance
Support system implementations, process standardization, and finance transformation initiatives impacting A2R processes
Serve as a key finance leader supporting business changes, restructurings, and other complex accounting matters

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
Typically requires 8–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, close, A2R, or financial reporting roles
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Demonstrated experience leading complex close processes in a large, matrixed organization
Proven people leadership experience, including managing and developing teams
Experience with A2R transformation, shared services, or global accounting models (preferred)
Experience with ERP and financial close systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms) (preferred)
Background in a manufacturing, medical device, or healthcare environment (preferred)
Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and complex accounting topics (preferred)
CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders
English (required)
