About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Own end‑to‑end A2R activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Establish and maintain strong close governance, controls, and documentation to support internal and external audit requirements
- Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and business teams to ensure alignment between operational activity and financial results
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline close timelines, improve data quality, and enhance reporting efficiency
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance
- Support system implementations, process standardization, and finance transformation initiatives impacting A2R processes
- Serve as a key finance leader supporting business changes, restructurings, and other complex accounting matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- Typically requires 8–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, close, A2R, or financial reporting roles
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading complex close processes in a large, matrixed organization
- Proven people leadership experience, including managing and developing teams
- Experience with A2R transformation, shared services, or global accounting models (preferred)
- Experience with ERP and financial close systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms) (preferred)
- Background in a manufacturing, medical device, or healthcare environment (preferred)
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and complex accounting topics (preferred)
- CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders
- English (required)
