Business Unit Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages a Manufacturing Business Unit
- Participates in the day-to-day operations with responsibilities for producing products at minimum costs consistent with quality specifications and production schedules
- Develops & participates in strategic decisions of the plant, division and company
- Provides a leadership role in the development and implementation of Process Excellence and Six Sigma standards
- Ensures sufficient manufacturing materials, equipment, and personnel
- Provides variance analysis and corrective actions
- Manages a customer driven quality plant that ensures regulatory compliance to ISO and GMP requirements
- Responsible for all salary administration issues and all personnel related matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bilingual, English and Spanish
- Strong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills ability
- Leadership and Negotiating skills
