Junior Sales Representative – Surgery
Johnson & JohnsonSales Representative responsible for executing surgical sales strategies in Uberlândia. Collaborating with surgeons and medical staff while ensuring compliance and effective product usage.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent Surgery in your territory, ensuring proper execution, planning, and identification of sales opportunities.
- Support the execution of the action plan by customer, sub-franchise, specialty and channel, contributing to the achievement of territory objectives, maintenance of the installed base, opportunity identification and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrate correct product use and resolve or escalate technical/scientific questions to the appropriate areas. Monitor and guide the use of materials in the operating room for surgeons and nurses.
- Present technical product proposals, highlighting technical differentiators and the cost‑benefit relationships of our technologies.
- Demonstrate sales productivity by planning your weekly routine, aiming to meet daily visit targets and entering high-quality information into sales tracking systems.
- Work collaboratively with functional and support areas (e.g., marketing, finance, logistics and customer service) to secure alignment and support for plan execution in the territory.
- Perform contract and proposal management activities, and manage assets within accounts.
- Comply with processes and procedures designated by J&J, following all J&J Compliance rules.
- Support pricing analyses, evaluating price and volume impact across different technologies according to departmental guidelines.
- Support the development and monitoring of client business plans (business plans), under manager guidance, focused on territory opportunities and results.
- Develop knowledge in value-based healthcare economics and support applying this understanding to opportunities and client discussions.
- Use negotiation techniques to ensure the creation and execution of commercial proposals that generate value for the customer.
- Monitor account performance and the sales funnel, proposing actions for sustainable growth and customer retention.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree completed (preferably in a related field).
- Knowledge of the hospital environment - PREFERRED.
- Experience in sales within the Medical Devices segment (including internships, trainee programs, or commercial experience).
- Residence in the Uberlândia region - PREFERRED.
- Basic English is desirable.
- Good knowledge of IT tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Category B driver's license.
- Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
