About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead global distribution and warehousing network strategy initiatives, including footprint design, capacity planning, and make/buy analyses.
  • Develop and evaluate long ‑ term network scenarios to support business growth, product innovation, and regional market needs.
  • Partner cross functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, and Commercial teams to align network strategy with business priorities.
  • Build financial and operational models to assess cost, service, risk, and investment trade ‑ offs across the global network.
  • Support strategic capital investment planning and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization in network strategy tools, analytics, and decision ‑ making processes.
  • Monitor external trends (market demand, geopolitical risk, supply disruptions) and assess implications for the global network.
  • Prepare clear, executive ‑ level materials and recommendations for governance forums and leadership reviews.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, operations strategy, or network design roles.
  • Demonstrated experience developing global distribution or supply network strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders and cross ‑ functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a regulated, complex, or global operating environment.
  • Preferred: Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Prior experience supporting capital investment planning or large ‑ scale network transformations.
  • Familiarity with advanced network modeling tools and scenario planning methodologies.
  • Experience working in matrixed, global organizations.
  • Demonstrated people leadership or indirect team leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to evaluate complex trade ‑ offs.
