Key responsibilities & impact

Manage multiple global External Manufacturers for DePuy Synthes and ensure seamless supply integration
Work cross-functionally to implement supplier-facing initiatives
Execute and monitor tactical and continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes
Resolve both short-term and structural issues with suppliers and support functions
Manage, coach, and develop a small team of professional level associates

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree in a Business-related field of study, Supply Chain, Logistics Sciences or Engineering field is required
A minimum of 6 years of direct experience within Supplier Relationship Management, Planning, or Manufacturing Operations, preferably within the medical device industry is required
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally is required
Demonstrated track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing direct reports is required
Strong written and oral communication, influencing, and negotiation skills are required
A background in Operational Excellence (Lean / Six-Sigma) is preferred
Firm understanding of E2E supply chain with an emphasis on Planning and constraint theory is preferred
A positive, customer-focused and collaborative approach to problem solving is required
The ability to develop data and leverage metrics and analytics to generate insights for continuous improvement is required
The ability to work independently and with urgency in a globally matrixed environment
