About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to and lead engineering and system-related projects within warehouse operations, with a focus on automation, material handling, order fulfillment equipment and warehouse management/execution systems.
Drive the design and implementation of process and system improvements to enhance safety, reliability, efficiency and user-friendliness of warehouse processes.
Act as change owner for system enhancements, ensuring proper change management, implementation and minimal impact on daily operations.
Support compliance with GxP, GDP, FDA and ISO requirements, maintaining systems and equipment in a qualified and validated state.
Interface closely with Operations, IT, Quality, E&PS, EHS, Planning and external suppliers to ensure end-to-end alignment on engineering and system initiatives.
Lead or contribute to CAPEX and OPEX-related projects, ensuring flawless execution from concept to handover.
Apply Lean and process excellence principles to identify bottlenecks and drive sustainable improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, supply chain or industrial environments, preferably with automated warehouses.
Strong affinity with IT/OT systems and warehouse management/execution systems.
Experience in engineering projects related to automation, logistics processes and system implementations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Preferred: Experience with SAP eWM and/or other warehouse execution or control systems.
Knowledge of qualification and validation activities in a GxP-regulated environment.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or structured project management methodologies.
