About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver and execute the district’s business strategy and tactics
- Develop strong business relationships with partners
- Manage the US Cataract and Refractive franchise for AMO
- Lead a team including Account Executives, Capital Sales Specialists, and others
- Hire, Train and Retain a high-caliber team of sales individuals
- Achieve and maintain quota
- Effectively coordinate efforts of various specialists
- Maintain thorough knowledge of cataract surgery and its products
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree or equivalent or United States Armed Forces Veterans with military experience at the E6 pay grade or greater
- Minimum of 5 years relevant business experience
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of Capital and Consumable selling cycles and processes preferred
- Experience working in an Operating Room and familiarity with OR etiquette preferred
- Proven ability to consistently meet and attain quota
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Surgical Cataract Business preferred
- Valid driver's license issued in the United States required
- Up to 60% travel required
