About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Internships are hosted in J&J sites across the US and will support either the Supply Chain or Research & Development functions
  • Life as a J&J FIRST Robotics Engineering Intern provides real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring
  • Work on projects that improve your leadership, analytical, and project management skills
  • Cross-functional teamwork provides an opportunity to partner with a variety of people in the organization across all our sectors; Innovative Medicine, MedTech, and Corporate/Enterprise
  • Summer Internship term is June 2026 – August 2026 (dates may be flexible)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Permanent work authorization in the U.S. without the need of sponsorship now or in the future is required
  • Ability to work full-time 40 hours/week for the duration of the 8-week internship program is required
  • As of the start date, candidate’s completion and successful graduation from high school is required
  • Enrollment in an accredited College/University Bachelor’s degree program, with intention to pursue an Engineering, Science or related STEM course of study, as of the start date of the internship is required
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA is required
  • Commutable distance (50 miles or less) from one of the locations listed is required
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while driving results with the ability to work independently as a self-started contributing to team goals is required
  • If you are under 18 years of age you (the student) will need to obtain the necessary working papers in order to start the assignment, as well as get a parent’s consent for the background check
