About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Internships are hosted in J&J sites across the US and will support either the Supply Chain or Research & Development functions
Life as a J&J FIRST Robotics Engineering Intern provides real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring
Work on projects that improve your leadership, analytical, and project management skills
Cross-functional teamwork provides an opportunity to partner with a variety of people in the organization across all our sectors; Innovative Medicine, MedTech, and Corporate/Enterprise
Summer Internship term is June 2026 – August 2026 (dates may be flexible)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Permanent work authorization in the U.S. without the need of sponsorship now or in the future is required
Ability to work full-time 40 hours/week for the duration of the 8-week internship program is required
As of the start date, candidate’s completion and successful graduation from high school is required
Enrollment in an accredited College/University Bachelor’s degree program, with intention to pursue an Engineering, Science or related STEM course of study, as of the start date of the internship is required
Minimum 3.0 GPA is required
Commutable distance (50 miles or less) from one of the locations listed is required
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required
Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while driving results with the ability to work independently as a self-started contributing to team goals is required
If you are under 18 years of age you (the student) will need to obtain the necessary working papers in order to start the assignment, as well as get a parent’s consent for the background check
