About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet or exceed sales expectations within assigned territories
- Understand and identify customer needs
- Align marketing resources and support pull-through activities
- Communicate Intra-Cellular’s corporate vision to improve lives of patients
- Develop superior product and disease state knowledge
- Create local strategic and tactical plans
- Allocate resources effectively and manage budget
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, or business to business sales, or recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military
- 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred
- Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bi-polar sales experience highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers
- High integrity and adherence to Company’s Compliance policies and procedures
- Strong self-motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent decision-making judgment, strong teaming/collaboration and cross-functional skills
- Proven track record of success in evolving environments
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and diagnose performance issues
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences
- Willingness to work outside of normal hours and travel as required
